OVERVIEW
With an objective to serve entire living being present on this Planet and to promote their sustainable development, Nilkanth Social Services Association (NISSA) was fo unded on 10th November 2005 by a group of eight individuals from across India sharing this common Objective.

We are a registered Voluntary Social Services organization, registered with Registrar of Societies, Delhi bearing registration no. S 54175/2005, committed to serve the entire living being irrespective of their caste, Creed, region, religion, Place of birth etc. Nilkanth Social Services Association (NISSA) is a non religious and apolitical Social Services organization. Since the day of its inception the Society has been working for the sustainable development of entire living being, more particularly the human being in India.

The following pages of this brochure inter-alia are overview of our aims and objectives, geographical areas of operation, ac complished projects etc. In order to serve the community in terms of our aims and objectives our organization requi res assistance from Government, Semi Government , Non Govt. agencies, either National or international, Public and Private Institutions and o ther Financial Institutions.

OUR MISSION
To create a sense of brotherhood, mutual harmony, love and affection amongst the people of India.
To fight against exploitation, injustice and corruption if foundagainstany individual, class, community in the society.
To work for uplifting the status of women in the society. To fight against the victimization of girl /women by anybody in the society.
To contribute, to the social cultural, medical betterment of the people especially downtrodden.
To provide help under health & nutrition services for women and children.
To provide help/shelter/facilities for old people, children and disabled persons for their welfare.
To promote family planning and Health awareness to improve life style, medical care, and other social values for batter care of citizen of India particularly in rural area.
To arrange welfare of the widow women, old aged, disables and socially neglected people.
To propagate the need for tree plantation,wastewater treatment, pollution control, environmental education & awareness.
To provide Training Programme, Research & Advocacy in the field of environment & ecology.
To work for welfare of agriculture and farmers.
To promote alternative sources of Energy, help to promote Technology transfer for the sake of community development and conduct research and development work to out alternative source of energy.
To work for Animal Welfare, protection preservation of endangered species prevention of cruelty against animals and develops suitable means in this direction to create awareness amongst mass regarding all these matters.
To save or protect National Heritage, Buildings or Places of the archeological & historic importance.
To the work for digester management for unforeseen calamity.
To the work for empowering human rights.
Utilize science/technology to facilitate their physical and mental growth.
To work for Barren Land Development.
To abolish female feticides.
To raiseawareness against Dowry.
To raise awareness against home violence with women.
To work against & raise awareness against Child abuse.
To work for upliftment of minorities.
To work for upliftment of women.
To work for welfare of widows.
To work for welfare of Dalits, Mahadalits, SCs & STs.
To help in establishing Rural Business Hubs in Partnership with Panchayats.
To raise awareness for establishing generic medicine shop by unemployed people.
To work for Labour Welfare.
To work for Social Security for Agricultural and Unorganized Labour.
To work for Minimum Wages Enforcement (including Farm Labour).
To work for Prevention of Child Labour.
To work for Welfare of Women Labour.
To work for improved participation of women in: Panchayats, Municipalities, State Legislatures, and Parliament.
