Nilkanth Social Services Association (NISSA) is a Registered Voluntary Social Services organization which is committed to serve the entire living being irrespective of their caste, Creed, region, religion, Place of birth etc. Nilkanth Social Services Association (NISSA) is a non-religious and apolitical Social Services organization. Since the day of its inception the Society has been working for the sustainable development of entire living being, more particularly the human being in India.
With an objective to serve entire living being present on this Planet and to promote their sustainable development, Nilkanth Social Services Association (NISSA) was founded on 10th November,2005 by a group of eight individualsfrom across India sharing this common Objective.
During last two decades, Indian nationals are facing severe environmental pollution and acute water crisis particularly duringsummer. Second Generation economic reforms in India has seen rapid industrialization of the country. As moreand more industries are coming up, the environment and water table in the Industrial belt has been taking nosedive and during last twenty years, due to excessive exploitation of the water resources, water table in many industrial settlements and cities has almost dried to the extent that on 19th June 2019, our one of the biggest city and industrial belt was declared “Day Zero”. Similar situation is likely to be faced by many more industrial settlements and cities in near future. This frightening trend has the potential to wipe out entire human civilizationwith Industrial Growth without any exception.
In order to arrest the situation, Nilkanth Social Services Association (NISSA) is committed to do all which is necessary. We, with the help of our expert team, work on the ways for water conservation, more particularly rain water harvesting. We with the help of our Geologists, Analysts, Engineers (Both from Civil and Public Health Engineering) and logistics support devise the ways to conservewater by replenishing ground water table based on the Geographical and Geological analysis of the location. Apart from the same weundertake afforestation Plan as well, based on the soil analysis of the location which not only helps seepage of rain water in the watertable but also helps to contain carbon emission from the Industrial establishment.
